Job summary

Visiting Angels is seeking compassionate caregivers to provide in-home care for seniors and adults with disabilities in New Hampshire. A minimum commitment of 30 hours per week is required, with day, evening, weekend, and overnight shifts available, including part-time and full-time roles.

Compensation is a $20/hour flat rate. Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent preferred, and CNA/LNA certification or experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and meaningful conversation to clients.
• Assist with personal care including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and feeding.
• Prepare meals and assist with light housekeeping and laundry.
• Provide medication reminders and accompany clients to appointments.
• Transport clients and run errands as needed.
• Use a smartphone to clock in/out and complete documentation.

What You'll Do

• Provide companionship and meaningful conversation
• Assist with personal care, including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and feeding
• Prepare meals
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry
• Provide medication reminders
• Run errands and grocery shop
• Provide transportation and accompany clients to appointments
• Assist with activities of daily living
• Use a smartphone for clock-in/out and care documentation

Shifts Available

• Day shifts
• Evening shifts
• Weekend shifts
• Overnight shifts
• Part-time and full-time opportunities

Minimum Commitment: 30 hours per week

Requirements

• $20/hour flat rate for this position
• Must be able to commit to at least 30 hours per week
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Experience caring for seniors and/or adults with disabilities, professionally or personally, preferred
• CNA/LNA certification or experience is a plus
• Dementia/Alzheimer's experience is a plus
• Compassionate, dependable, patient, and professional
• Must genuinely enjoy assisting others
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
• Valid driver's license
• Reliable vehicle
• Active automobile insurance required
• Ability to pass a criminal background check
• Comfortable using a smartphone to clock in/out and complete documentation
