Silverado is hiring Caregivers to provide compassionate, hands-on support to residents living with Alzheimer’s, dementia, and memory impairment. The role blends empathy, reliability, and relationship-building to create meaningful moments every day.

You will lead with heart, patience, and integrity, and work in a team-focused environment. The job includes training, growth opportunities, and a pay range of $18–$21 per hour, with full-time scheduling and weekend requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Experience caring for individuals with Alzheimer’s, dementia, or memory impairment preferred.
• Reliable transportation to meet attendance and punctuality standards.
• Effective communicator in verbal and written English.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care and assistance with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, dining, etc.).
• Build meaningful relationships with residents, families, and team members.
• Support residents with memory impairments in a safe, respectful, and engaging environment.
• Maintain accurate care records and report changes to the nursing team.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Provide compassionate care and assistance with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, dining, etc.)
• Build meaningful relationships with residents, families, and fellow team members
• Support residents with memory impairments in a safe, respectful, and engaging environment
• Maintain accurate care records and report changes to the nursing team

Qualifications:

• High school diploma, GED, or educational equivalent preferred
• Experience caring for individuals with Alzheimer’s, dementia, or other debilitating conditions (preferred but not required)
• Reliable transportation to meet attendance and punctuality standards
• Effective communicator in verbal and written English
• Active role: walking, bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs.)
• Comfortable working around animals and pets

Schedule: Full Time, AM shift, variable days, availability to work every other weekend (8 hr. shifts) required

Anticipated pay range: $18 USD - $21 USD
