Phoenix Home Care and Hospice in Springfield, MO is hiring a full-time Caregiver to support geriatric clients with compassionate, one-on-one care. You will build a flexible schedule across multiple clients while delivering high-quality assistance and companionship.

Responsibilities include ADLs, meal prep, medication reminders, light housekeeping, and safe transfers. Requires 18+, valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, ability to lift 50 lbs, and passing background/drug checks.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Have a valid driver’s license.
• Reliable vehicle with current auto insurance
• Ability to lift 50 LBS.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Ability to pass a drug test.

Responsibilities

• Assist with Activities of Daily Living (Bathing, Dressing, Grooming).
• Provide Companionship and Emotional Support.
• Support Clients with Higher Acuity Needs, Including Transfers (gait belts, Hoyer lifts).
• Feeding Assistance & Meal Preparation.
• Monitoring and Reporting Changes in Condition.
• Light Housekeeping.
• Medication Reminders.
• Running errands.

This position aids in maintaining the care of our geriatric population.
