Job summary

Preferred Home Health Care & Nursing Services is seeking a dedicated Caregiver to provide hands-on support to senior residents, fostering meaningful relationships and improving quality of life. You will assist with ADLs, follow care plans, promote safety and independence, and engage residents in daily activities and conversations.

In Memory Care, you will create enriching experiences for residents with memory loss, while supporting dining services and maintaining a clean, welcoming environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain.
• Compassion, reliability, and strong communication skills.

Role Overview

The Caregiver provides hands‑on support to senior residents, fostering meaningful relationships and enhancing quality of life. Responsibilities include assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, and personal care, while following individualized service plans and documenting changes. They promote safety, dignity, and independence, engage residents through conversation and activities, support dining services, and maintain a clean, welcoming environment. In Memory Care, they create enriching experiences for residents with memory loss.

Compensation & Benefits
