Job summary

United Cerebral Palsy Heartland is seeking a Pre-Vocational Specialist/Job Developer to support clients in reaching competitive employment goals. You will train, coach, and follow up with a 6-10 client caseload while meeting documentation and funding requirements.

The role requires a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays. A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is preferred, with strong communication skills and computer literacy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or combination of education and relevant experience.
• Good working knowledge of computers, software and databases.
• Strong written and oral communication; ability to relate to diverse individuals.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Directly support clients in achieving employment goals through instructional training.
• Manage a caseload of 6-10 clients.
• Provide job development, coaching, and follow-along supports as needed.
• Prepare and submit documentation within required timelines and funding rules.
• Flexibility to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Experience orienting, supervising, and evaluating program participants.
