Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• Current BLS certification may be required in certain departments.
• ECG/EEG interpretation course or on-the-job training with 85% ECG accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Provide continuous observation of monitors and patient activity.
• Obtain calibrated rhythm strips and document changes.
• Provide information and summaries to physicians and staff.
• Monitor and assist in maintenance of monitoring equipment.
• Provide general support to the department and greet patients and visitors.
