Banner Health seeks Monitor Techs for the PCU-Monitor Techs-Hosp team in Glendale, AZ. This role focuses on continuous observation of patient monitors and rhythms, escalating any dangerous changes to clinicians. Responsibilities include rhythm strip collection, documentation, and supporting staff.

The position is full-time on day shift (6:00am–6:30pm) with weekend and holiday rotation, offering comprehensive benefits and a collaborative environment at Banner Health.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Current BLS certification may be required in certain departments.
• ECG/EEG training or passing ECG/EEG test with 85% or higher is required in some roles.
• Must have working knowledge of medical terminology and good interpersonal skills.

Responsabilidades

• Provides continuous observation of monitors, leads and/or activity for assigned patients and alerts staff of changes.
• Obtains calibrated rhythm strips and maintains documentation per policy.
• Provides information and summaries to physicians and staff.
• Monitors and assists in maintenance of monitoring equipment.
• May greet and assist patients, visitors and staff; works under general supervision.
