Job summary

Pueblo Community College is seeking a full-time custodian to maintain clean and safe facilities on campus. The role requires performing routine cleaning, floor care, and minor maintenance while ensuring a healthy learning environment for students and staff.

Ideal candidates will have at least six months of custodial experience, be able to handle physical labor, and be willing to work varied shifts, including holidays.

Qualifications

• Six months custodial experience as the primary function of the job.
• Must be able to perform strenuous physical labor and shifts including holidays.
• Must possess a valid Colorado driver’s license and pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe and clean environment for students, staff and the public.
• Dust and mop floors, clean restrooms, and manage custodial closets inventories.
• Perform summer maintenance like stripping, waxing, and carpet shampooing as needed.
