Job summary

Pueblo Community College is seeking a Custodian I to maintain a safe, clean environment for students, staff and the public across campus facilities. This full-time role requires diligent cleaning, floor care, restroom sanitation and adherence to safety procedures.

Experience preferred: six months in custodial work; ability to lift, perform strenuous tasks, and work varying shifts. Must possess Colorado driver’s license and pass background checks; emergency duties may be required.

Qualifications

• Six months of custodial experience as the primary function.
• Ability to perform strenuous physical labor.
• Willing to work different shifts, including holidays.
• Excellent customer service to internal and external customers.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe, clean environment for students, staff, and visitors.
• Use custodial chemicals, dust and mop floors, clean restrooms.
• Restock supplies, empty trash, clean windows and entry doors.
• Assist with snow removal and respond to emergencies as needed.
• Document daily work orders and timesheets using the computer.
