Job summary

OPC Arbre Farms in Michigan is seeking a Boiler/Refrigeration Operator I for the first shift to manage IQF tunnel systems and assist in Boiler/Refrigeration maintenance. This full-time role reports to the Boiler/Refrigeration Manager and operates 7:00 am to 4:00 pm Monday through Friday, with Saturdays possible January–April and longer hours May–December.

The operator will ensure systems are ready for production, follow GMP and food safety policies, and use PPE as required.

Qualifications

• High Diploma/GED, Equivalent, preferred.
• Boiler & Refrigeration Experience 1-2 years preferred.
• Exemplary attendance required.

Responsibilities

• Serve the needs of customers and all stakeholders
• Adhere to all Food Safety Policies and GMP practices.
• Ensure Boiler/Refrigeration Tunnel Systems are ready for the production needs
• Keep tools and equipment in good working order and put away in the proper locations
• Use/wear all Personal Protective Equipment required by the company
