ADM is seeking a Boiler Operator for the Fostoria, OH oilseed processing plant. The role covers plant utilities including boilers, cooling towers, and compressed air, with rotating shifts and required safety and environmental compliance reporting.

Key responsibilities include safe startup/shutdown of boilers and supporting water treatment and maintenance, documenting records, and collaborating with engineering to optimize operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or additional education is beneficial.
• 1-3 years in boiler operations or maintenance experience preferred.
• Basic math skills and reading comprehension; ability to read and follow processes.
• Self-starter with the ability to prioritize tasks.

Responsabilités

• Understand and comply with health & safety requirements and ADM policies.
• Perform safe startup and shutdown of boilers, cooling towers, and air compressors.
• Identify and troubleshoot boiler, pump, valve, and control issues.
• Maintain water treatment and chemical dosage per standards.
• Document daily operations and inspections; read SOPs and process docs.
• Operate water treatment equipment and perform routine maintenance.
