Job summary

CREST Collaborative in Andover, MA seeks a Full-Time BCBA to join our school-based team. You will run FBAs, build individualized plans, and work with SLPs, OTs, PTs, teachers and clinicians to support students with social, emotional, and behavioral needs.

The schedule follows the MA public school calendar (184 days + 24 summer days). Hours are 8:00 AM–3:30 PM, with collaboration, data-driven interventions, and supervision of RBTs.

Qualifications

Join our BCBA team at CREST Collaborative! At CREST, you won't be on your own, as we currently have a team of seven BCBAs all under one roof at our Andover, MA school campus. Our goal is to support all of our students to achieve their highest potential academically, socially, and behaviorally.

About the Position

In this role, you'll be a key member of our Lower Essex program, working with elementary and middle school students with varying needs. Our students are all on IEPs with primary social, emotional, and behavioral needs, often alongside other diagnoses, such as autism. They present with a wide spectrum of needs, ranging from outward-acting behaviors to internalized challenges, often rooted in significant trauma.

To best support our students, we prioritize trauma-informed care and require close collaboration between our BCBAs and clinicians to deliver integrated therapeutic support.

Your responsibilities will include conducting Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs), developing and implementing individualized behavior plans, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to write and contribute to IEPs. We have a full team of in-house professionals at CREST, including Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs), Occupational Therapists (OTs), Physical Therapists (PTs), teachers, and clinicians.

The schedule is from 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday, following the Massachusetts public school schedule with 184 contracted days and an optional 24 days of summer school. There is little to no travel required, no minimum billable hours, and no insurance authorizations to worry about. This position reports directly to the program leadership team.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Complete FBAs and behavior observations as needed
• Develop individualized behavior plans
• Contribute to IEP development and write quarterly progress updates
• Maintain a caseload of consult-only IEP grid hours
• Competently understand and demonstrate Safety-Care procedures (training provided on site)
• Support de-escalation and behavior management as needed; model and demonstrate strategies using a hands‑on approach with students
• Appropriately support students and create plans based on their age, individual needs, social skills, and developmental level
• Manage data collection: design individualized data collection/data sheets, oversee data collection methods, conduct ongoing analysis of data, and provide staff training on data collection methods
• Conduct staff training and lead professional development as needed
• Provide ongoing supervision to Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) as needed
• Collaborate on an interdisciplinary team including SLPs, OTs, PTs, teachers, clinicians, support staff, RBTs, and leadership (this role requires close, ongoing collaboration with our in-house clinicians)
• Collaborate with the direct services team (teachers, support staff, RBTs, etc.) to implement behavior plans or specific behavior support strategies to increase skill acquisition in targeted academic areas and oversee implementation

Salary Range: $56637-$120096 based on education and years of experience

Job Requirements

• Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis or a related field, such as Psychology or Special Education
  Experience working with students whose profiles require therapeutic support and approaches, particularly in social, emotional, and behavioral areas
  Knowledge of trauma-informed care practices
  Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and Licensed Applied Behavior Analyst (LABA); individuals within 1–3 months of sitting for the certification exam will be considered
  Completion of 8-hour supervision requirements is preferred, but not required
  Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  Strong time management skills and the ability to adhere to deadlines
  Flexibility and creativity to respond to the changing needs of the programs
