Community Action Head Start seeks a full-time Teacher at W.L. Henry Elementary in Hillsboro. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education (preferred) with two years of experience for ages 3–5 and is bilingual in English and Spanish.

A Step 9 from the Oregon Registry Online and current Oregon CBR enrollment are required before hire. This role follows an Advanced Placement rate: $26/hour at Step 9 or $32/hour at Step 10, with full benefits.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education preferred.
• Two years of teaching experience with children aged 3–5.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish required.
• Step 9 from the Oregon Registry Online and current Oregon CBR enrollment required before hire.

Responsabilidades

• Use Creative Curriculum to plan weekly lessons and document observations.
• Ensure inclusion of all children, including those with special needs, with ECSE support.
• Conduct home visits and parent-teacher conferences to engage families.
• Maintain knowledge of Head Start policies and performance standards.
• Collaborate with Family Services to support families’ goals.
