Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Serves in the absence of the classroom teacher.
• Delivers the lesson plan created and left by the classroom teacher.
• Maintains a classroom environment conducive to learning and safety.
• Prepares for classes and shows evidence of preparation upon request.
• Encourages students to meet high standards of behavior.
• Protects students, equipment, materials, and facilities.
• Maintains records as required by law and policy.
• Cooperates with other staff members and administrators.
