Fresh Baguette is hiring a Full-Time Barista at our Cleveland Park bakery cafe in Washington, DC. You will provide friendly service, prepare coffee, baked goods, and light meals, and help customers pair items with their meals.

We value integrity, reliability, and team orientation. Open availability required; 8-hour shifts with rotating times; 5 days a week including weekends. Cash handling and fast-paced environment experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Open availability to work Monday-Sunday.
• At least 1 year of experience in a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced coffee or food service environment.
• Authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly and prompt customer service to all customers.
• Become an expert in Fresh Baguette’s menu and make recommendations.
• Prepare and serve coffee, sandwiches, salads, and baked goods with care.
• Follow recipes to maintain consistent product quality.
• Handle cash and credit transactions at the register.
