Fresh Baguette in the Washington, DC area is hiring for full-time or part-time baker roles across our bakery cafes. You will deliver friendly service, bake breads, operate the register, and help customers pair products with meals in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in cafe, bakery, or hospitality is preferred.
• Able to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
• Open availability including weekends and holidays.
• Authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly and prompt customer service.
• Handle cash and credit transactions at the register.
• Offer product recommendations to enhance customer experience.
• Bake breads and pastries to quality standards.
• Prepare products for next day baking schedule.
• Maintain organization of freezer and fridge areas.
• Pack delivery items and ensure proper storage.
• Set up attractive bread displays and keep them clean.
• Comply with store safety, sanitation, and food storage standards.
• Prepare and serve baked goods, sandwiches, salads, and pastries with care.
• Build long-term relationships with customers.
