Job summary

Sandestin Golf & Beach Resort is seeking a Banquet Event Set-up Attendant to prepare venues, arrange tables, linens, and AV equipment, and help create memorable events across meetings, weddings, and conferences.

This full-time, labor-intensive role requires good physical stamina, teamwork, and a meticulous eye for detail to ensure layouts meet guest specifications and support seamless service.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in event setup, banquet services, or a related field is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret event layouts and floor plans.
• Willingness to stand, lift, and move equipment for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Prepare event spaces for various functions, including meetings, weddings, banquets, and conferences.
• Set up and arrange tables, chairs, linens, decorations, and audio-visual equipment.
• Ensure the layout and design of each event space meet the specific requirements and preferences of our guests.
• Collaborate closely with event planners and the culinary team to ensure seamless event execution.
• Maintain inventory of event setup materials and report any shortages.
• Uphold cleanliness and organization in all event setup areas.
