Job summary

Somerset Regal Bank is seeking a full-time teller to provide friendly, in-person and phone-friendly service at locations including Livingston, Florham Park, Millburn, Springfield, West Orange, and Roseland.

The role requires cash handling experience, accurate processing of deposits and withdrawals, balance of cash drawer, and knowledge of banking products. Schedule includes weekdays 8:45 am to 5:15 pm and Saturday mornings as scheduled, with travel between branches as needed.

Responsibilities

• Report to assigned bank location and provide friendly, efficient customer service in person and/or over the telephone.
• Process banking transactions including deposits, withdrawals, check item redemption, account holds, loan payments, and safe deposit rental payments.
• Maintain assigned cash drawer within established balance limits.
• Balance currency, coin, and checks in cash drawer daily and prepare personal proof sheet.
• Educate and promote awareness of bank products and services to customers to expand relationships.
• Assist customers and Management with use and maintenance of coin counting machine.
• Maintain work area in a neat and well-stocked manner.
• Assist in closing the branch facility daily.
