Responsibilities

• Receive checks and cash for deposits and enter records.
• Cash checks and process withdrawals with verification of signatures and balances.
• Enter customer transactions and provide receipts.
• Perform balance inquiries as needed.
• Verify endorsements and information on checks.
• Obtain proper identification per policy from customers.
• Record identification as required by procedures.
• Receive mortgage, loan and other payments and issue receipts.
• Count coins and currency.
• Promote banking services and explain benefits to clients.
• Assist customers and resolve inquiries professionally.
• Balance cash drawer at end of shift and report discrepancies.
• Count currency and strap into bundles for vault.
• Order cash from vault for daily needs; verify cash.
• Prepare cashier's checks upon request; verify funds.
