Job summary

Park National Corporation is seeking a customer-focused teller to support customers and bank associates with prompt, professional service. You will handle transactions, provide product recommendations, and maintain accurate records in a fast-paced branch environment.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and 0–2 years of cash handling or customer service experience. Hours are daytime, Monday–Saturday with potential for overtime; the position is hourly and full-time.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• 0-2 years prior cash handling, sales, or customer service experience preferred.
• Must be able to operate a computer and handle currency accurately.

Responsibilities

• Serve customers, prospects and bank associates promptly and professionally in accordance with Park Promises and Serving More standards.
• Complete transaction processing timely, accurately, and in accordance with bank procedures.
• Project the bank's professional reputation through knowledgeable, courteous interactions and prompt resolution of requests or issues.
• Refer loan and deposit customers or prospects to subject matter experts.
• Complete ongoing product knowledge, digital product knowledge, financial services and sales training to sustain broad knowledge base.
• Utilize product knowledge to assist customers and suggest products and services to meet their needs.
• Protect bank assets by adhering to processes, policies and procedures related to branch and cash security and regulatory requirements.
• Complete periodic in-branch communication and promotion activities specific to the office.
• Communicate recommendations for improved workflow and service to customers.
• Maintain awareness of compliance requirements and risk management concepts and apply them daily.
• Deliver a high level of service within Serving More standards.
• Other duties as assigned.
