Job summary

Too Sweet Cakes in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Stock and Inventory Associate to receive, organize, and maintain inventory at our Phoenix production facility. You will help ensure materials are stored properly and available to support production schedules.

Responsibilities include verifying shipments, rotating stock using FIFO, maintaining freezer organization and temperatures, and performing monthly inventory counts.

Qualifications

• Prior warehouse, inventory, or receiving experience preferred.
• Comfortable working in freezer/cold storage environments.
• Basic math and record‑keeping accuracy for counts and reconciliation.
• Ability to lift up 50-75 lbs regularly.
• Food safety/handling knowledge a plus

Responsibilities

• Receive inventory shipments, verify quantities, inspect for damage.
• Put away inventory following FIFO to minimize waste and spoilage.
• Maintain freezer organization and log temperatures/conditions.
• Conduct monthly physical inventory counts and reconcile counts against system records.
• Flag low-stock or par-level items and assist in placing orders as needed.
• Support development of par levels for key inventory items based on usage trends.
• Operate a pallet jack safely to move and stage product.
• Keep receiving and storage areas clean, organized, and compliant with food safety standards.
• Communicate discrepancies, damaged goods, or vendor issues promptly to management.
