Job summary

The Grateful Bread is seeking a full-time baker in Seattle, WA. The role runs Monday through Friday, 10 AM–6 PM, with weekends and holidays required. Pay is $21–$23 per hour depending on experience, with the option to train a passionate home baker.

The candidate should be self-driven, ambitious, and engaged, with baking experience preferred. Responsibilities include dough lamination, baking various breads and pastries, and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Full-time availability with 8-hour shifts
• 5 days a week work schedule
• Lift 50 pounds repeatedly during the day
• Must be able to perform repetitive motions and stand for long periods

Responsibilities

• Dough lamination.
• Mixing and baking various breads.
• Mixing and baking pastries (muffins, scones, croissants, cookies, etc.).
• Move large mixing bowls and heavy buckets during the day.
• Move 50-pound bags of flour and sugar throughout your shift.
