Pinoyshki, a family-owned café, bakery, and restaurant in Capitol Hill, Seattle, seeks an enthusiastic baker to join our team. We are offering full-time and part-time positions with Tue/Wed and Thu-Sun shifts, and we’ll train the right candidate.

Our hours range from early morning into the afternoon, with tips averaging per hour depending on busyness. Applicants must be 18+, able to work in the US, and have or obtain a food handler's permit (training and permit assistance available).

Qualifications

• Must be legally able to work in the US and 18+.
• A food handler's permit is required before starting (training provided).
• Experience in foodservice or baking is a plus; home-baked examples welcomed.

Responsibilities

• Bake and assist in daily production and service.
• Support customers and cashier duties when needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and food-safety standards.

We’re excited to share that our beloved family-owned café, bakery, and restaurant is doing well in our beautiful, newly constructed Capitol Hill location. Now over 3 years strong, we’ve built an experienced team and a loyal community. We’re currently looking for an enthusiastic baker to join our team. If you're legally able to work in the US and are over 18, we want you to be a part of our restaurant.

We're specifically looking for Baker full time or a partime one Tue/Thur/Fri.

Our store hours are:

• Tue-Wed: 8:30-2:30 pm.
• Thur-Sun:8:30-6:00 pm.

We'd be assigning you hours somewhere in that range.

Job Details:

• Unfortunately, we can't sponsor work visas.
• The interview will be in person.
• If you are great with people you have a high chance of getting this job.
• For bakers baking experience is a plus or at least show us what you have home-baked. We will still be training you in what we make.
• Foodservice experience is a plus.
• Cashier experience is a plus.
• A food handler's permit is required but you could still send us your resume and get your permit online after (we'll refund).
• Must be able to show up on time and be reliable. Some of the time you’ll be the only one able to fulfill the role.Predictably is very important.
• It's likely that more days will open up in the future and also covering for other shifts.

Also, we should mention that this is a tipped role and we are very busy at the moment. Tips are averaging about $3-$10 an hour at the moment although higher on the weekend.
