Job summary

Burlington Stores is seeking a Full-Time Retail Stocking Team Supervisor to lead the Back of House/Receiving team and work closely with store management. This leadership role drives operations, safeguards assets, and builds strong teams to deliver results.

As a supervisor, you will manage merchandise flow, scheduling, and safety, while assisting in recruiting and onboarding new associates. Flexible hours and growth opportunities are emphasized in our program.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of supervisory experience in an off-price, big box, or specialty environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a positive and engaging attitude.
• Ability to work a full-time schedule including nights, weekends and holidays as required.
• Ability to move/handle/lift store merchandise weighing 40 lbs. or more, and to stand/walk for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Lead merchandise progression: receiving deliveries, unloading and sorting cartons, processing merchandise, and moving goods to the sales floor.
• Ensure back of house cleanliness, setup and organization meet standards.
• Reinforce Asset Protection strategies to reduce shortages.
• Promote safety for customers and associates per company guidelines.
• Foster a diverse, team-based culture and collaboration.
• Drive compliance with company policies and standards.
• Direct associates and workload; monitor productivity and merchandise protection.
• Coach associates and provide recognition in the moment.
• Assist in recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding new associates.
• Participate in weekly workload planning meetings.
• Support community relations initiatives and partnerships.
• Coordinate meal/break periods and monitor schedule adherence.
