As an Assistant Store Manager, you will be responsible for supervising daily store activities, ensuring store performance, managing schedules, developing operational plans, and identifying training opportunities to grow the team.

Position Details

• Type: Full-Time
• Hours: 38 hours/week
• Starting Wage: $25.00/hour
• Wage Increase: Year 2 - $26.00/hour

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and implementing operational improvement plans.
• Communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations to team members.
• Identify training opportunities for staff development.
• Promote company values and teamwork.
• Monitor community environment and suggest strategic adjustments.
• Provide product feedback and participate in hiring processes.
• Ensure adherence to inventory, product handling, and cash policies.
• Resolve customer concerns in absence of the manager.
• Maintain store safety, cleanliness, and signage standards.
• Assist in stock management and merchandising.
• Support payroll, inventory, and training objectives.
• Supervise daily team operations and escalate issues when needed.
• Ensure high levels of customer service and compliance with policies.

Physical & Job Requirements

• Ability to stock and handle products weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Must be able to sit, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk regularly.
