Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in geography or related field; ongoing commitment to teaching in a two-year college environment.
• Experience with GIS, cartography, and remote sensing in an academic setting.
• Proficiency with Blackboard and other teaching technologies.

Responsibilities

• Teach geography, cartography and GIS courses across multiple delivery modes (face-to-face, online, hybrid).
• Maintain at least 30 semester hours per academic year of geography/cartography coursework.
• Advise students, participate in department, campus and college committees; engage in professional development.
