Job summary

Driftwood Hospitality Management in Durham, NC is seeking a friendly restaurant server to greet guests, take orders, and deliver food and beverages with accuracy and hospitality.

You will input orders into the POS, confirm details with guests, upsell specials, and ensure compliance with liquor regulations and health standards while maintaining spotless presentation and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of State, Federal and Corporate liquor regulations.
• Current Food Handler Card or in process of certification.
• Valid TABC license.
• Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparations and service standards.
• Knowledge of proper table settings and service ware.
• English sufficient to understand inquiries and give simple instructions.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests in a friendly and courteous manner and explain specials.
• Check station for setup and cleanliness.
• Record and repeat guest orders for accuracy.
• Input orders into POS and inform kitchen of details.
• Deliver orders with accompaniments and check for guest satisfaction.
• Adhere to liquor regulations and safety procedures.
• Assist in dessert service and bussing duties.
• Perform general cleaning and restocking as assigned.
