Job summary

Schweiger is seeking a Full-Time Medical Assistant - Allergy for our New London office. The role supports allergy procedures, patient care, and clinic operations in a fast-paced dermatology setting. Applicants should have 2+ years as a Medical Assistant, a valid MA certification, and CPR/AED.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Medical Assistant required.
• Medical Assistant Certification required; CPR/AED certification preferred.
• Experience with allergy testing (skin prick, spirometry) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with allergy procedures including skin prick tests, patch tests, spirometry and immunotherapy injections.
• Prep exam rooms, maintain cleanliness, stock supplies in allergy treatment rooms.
• Manage patient records, scribe as needed, and assist with patient communication.
• Take payments, schedule follow-ups, and handle front desk coverage as needed.
• Ensure HIPAA & OSHA compliance and support new workflows and Klara paperwork.
