Job summary

Schweiger’s Fort Lauderdale Office is hiring a Full-Time Medical Assistant - Allergy to support daily allergy care operations. The role requires 2+ years of MA experience, allergy exposure preferred, and certification in Medical Assistance with CPR/AED.

You will assist in allergy testing, patient prep, and clerical tasks in a fast-paced dermatology setting. Applicants should be highly organized, patient-focused, and able to work with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of Medical Assistant experience; allergy practice preferred.
• Medical Assistant Certification required; CPR and AED certifications required.
• Experience using EMR software and patient scheduling systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promote a professional and welcoming atmosphere for patients and providers.
• Assist with allergy procedures, including skin prick tests and immunotherapy.
• Prepare exam rooms and maintain stock and cleanliness of treatment rooms.
• Take payments, schedule follow-ups, and track inventory used during visits.
