Malvern Treatment Centers in Malvern, PA is seeking a Full Time Counselor to join our treatment team. The role involves counseling patients on addiction, contributing to assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and aftercare planning.

Requires a Master’s degree and relevant clinical experience; licensure preferred. You will perform assessments, document in EMR, participate in group therapy, and help coordinate referrals, with a focus on safety and wellness.

Qualificações

• Master’s Degree required with a major in chemical dependency, psychology, social work, counseling, nursing (with a clinical specialty in the human services) or other related field and two years of clinical experience in a health or human service agency including one year with chemically dependent individuals.
• Full certification as an addictions counselor and three years of clinical experience in a health or human service agency including one year with chemically dependent individuals.

Responsabilidades

• Counsels patients regarding all aspects of their addiction and participates in treatment planning.
• Documents patient progress in EMR and aligns with goals in the treatment plan.
• Participates in case conferences and group therapy sessions as required.
• Maintains communication with patients' families and coordinates aftercare planning.
• Ensures compliance and quality through ongoing training and supervision.
