Job summary

Marlborough Hills Rehabilitation & Health Care Center is seeking a full-time Activities Assistant to support our recreation team and help deliver engaging programs for residents in a welcoming environment.

The role involves planning daily activities, coordinating events, and building meaningful relationships with residents to tailor programs to their interests. Join us for weekly pay at $17.50/hour and a supportive team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• We can train the right candidate.
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to interact professionally with residents and staff.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, organizing, developing, and directing daily events and programming for residents.
• Coordinate and run events and activities.
• Build relationships with residents to tailor programming to their interests.
• Organize group and individual programming.
• Generate ideas to encourage resident participation.
• Encourage activities that stimulate residents physically, mentally, socially and spiritually.
• Assist with resident care goals within the therapeutic team framework.
• Document and report any unusual or significant findings; report all reportable events.
