Job summary

Harborview at Lansdale in Montgomery County is seeking a full-time Activities Assistant to support residents with engaging programs and daily activities. You will help implement the monthly calendar, transport residents to events, and assist in maintaining a welcoming, dementia-friendly environment.

The role ha s a schedule of 8:30 am to 4:30 pm with evening shifts, offering a friendly team atmosphere, referral bonuses, and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• Must have a cheerful and positive attitude.
• Knowledge of PointClickCare.

Responsibilities

• Assist Activity Department with daily programs for residents based on individual residents' needs, abilities, and interests
• Run the daily activities based on the monthly calendar
• Transport residents to and from activities
• Assist residents with daily activities to promote residents' highest functional level
• Be patient and sensitive to residents' needs
• Must be comfortable working with memory loss/dementia
• Maintain attendance records for resident activities on a daily basis
• Assist with the seasonal decor of the facility
• Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as cleaning up after parties and programs
• Other duties assigned by Activity Supervisor
