Pleasant View Retirement Community in Manheim, PA is seeking an Activities Assistant who is passionate about their work. This full-time role supports recreation programs, monitors resident engagement, and prepares spaces for scheduled activities.

• Strong interpersonal skills with awareness for dignity, respect, compassion and safety.
• Dementia care experience is preferred.

Shift Availability for Activities Assistant:

• Full-Time
• Weekdays 9am-5:30pm
• Every other weekend 9am-5:30pm
• Every other holiday 9am-4pm

Responsibilities of Activities Assistant:

• Implementation of recreational program.
• Monitor resident needs, preferences, and attendance in activities.
• Assist in preparing activity rooms/areas for scheduled activity programs.
• This position will be working on a secured dementia unit. Experience working with Dementia preferred.
• This position is part of a three person activity staff team.
