Job summary

Heritage Hall Healthcare & Rehab Center in Blacksburg, VA is seeking an Activities Assistant to develop, implement and encourage resident activities in collaboration with the Activities Director. This full-time role supports resident engagement and quality of life.

The ideal candidate holds a high school diploma, has experience directing activities, a valid VA driver's license, and willingness to work nights and weekends as needed. Healthcare experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience directing individual and group activities preferred.
• Valid VA driver’s license required and ability to work nights and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement resident activities in collaboration with the Activities Director.
• Encourage resident participation and engagement in planned programs.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff to support activity programs.
