Job summary

International Security Services is seeking a Security Officer for an access control role at a manufacturing facility in Denton, TX. The position is full-time (40 hours/week) with a schedule including nights and weekends as listed, and pays $15.00 per hour. Applicants must hold a valid Texas Level 2 Guard Card.

You will protect the client’s facility, manage access control, monitor safety systems, and perform light computer-based tasks while maintaining logs and ensuring a safe environment.

Qualifications

• Must have basic computer skills and be able to operate standard software
• Strong observational skills and attention to detail to monitor entry points
• Effective communication with team members and visitors
• Reliable, punctual and able to follow instructions consistently

Responsibilities

• Ensure that only authorized personnel enter the facility
• Monitor the fire control panel and respond to alerts promptly
• Keep accurate logs and reports of daily security activities
• Maintain a visible and professional security presence on site
• Assist with emergency procedures and support safety protocols
• Provide courteous assistance to visitors and staff as needed
