Qualifications

• 6+ months of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check is required by law.
• Drug screen may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and drivers by carrying out access-control procedures.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and authorization, issue credentials, and maintain access records.
• Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations and communicate with site contacts and emergency personnel.
• Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas to identify unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Complete reports, logs, and shift documentation and communicate security information to leadership.
