Job summary

Allied Universal in Pittsburgh, PA is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Credential Verification to safeguard clients across logistics and distribution locations. You will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and maintain logs while delivering professional communication to employees, visitors, and drivers.

You will perform regular patrols, respond calmly to incidents, document observations, and uphold site-specific security procedures.

Qualifications

Age requirement: 18+ for unarmed, 21+ for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Background check as per federal/state/local laws.
Drug screen as allowed by law.
Licensing may be required by state/local laws.
Valid driver’s license for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, drivers, visitors, and employees by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures and security policies at a logistics and distribution location.
Monitor entry/exit points, verify credentials and authorized access, maintain logs, and direct individuals to loading, receiving, and admin areas.
Respond to incidents and access concerns calmly, following site procedures and contacting appropriate personnel as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, parking areas, loading docks, and the perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
Document observations, incidents, and policy violations accurately and communicate with Allied Universal leadership.
