Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full-Time - Badge Processor in Goodyear, AZ to manage entry points, verify credentials, and maintain access records. You will interact with drivers, visitors, and staff, providing outstanding service while deterring security incidents.

Qualifications

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to drivers, visitors, and personnel by carrying out site‑specific access control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate access‑related records.
• Screen incoming vehicles, deliveries, and contractors in accordance with site procedures, directing authorized traffic to designated areas.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, escalating matters according to established procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking locations, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
