Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer - Gatehouse Processing in Goodyear, AZ to safeguard clients across Logistics & Distribution locations. You will monitor entry points, verify credentials, manage visitor access, and document security-related activity with a focus on service excellence.

This full-time role requires customer service experience, tech comfort, and a valid driver's license, with a night-shift schedule and opportunities for growth within a dynamic security team.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, drivers, visitors, and employees by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor and control access to the logistics and distribution location by verifying credentials, processing authorized visitors and contractors, and maintaining accurate entry and exit records.
• Observe vehicle and pedestrian traffic at assigned entry points, communicate access requirements, and report unusual activity or access concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and notifying appropriate contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, loading areas, business spaces, and perimeter areas, documenting observations and reporting maintenance or security-related concerns.
