Job summary

Marquette-Alger RESA is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide therapeutic support and intervention for individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism. Your responsibilities will include working one-on-one with students, managing classroom behaviors, and ensuring effective implementation of behavior plans.

Ideal candidates will possess RBT Certification or the willingness to obtain it, demonstrate strong communication skills, and be capable of lifting students with physical disabilities. The position is full-time with requirements for daily travel within Marquette and Alger counties.

Qualifications

• Must uphold confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds independently.

Responsibilities

• Assist students on a 1:1 basis under a Board Certified Behavioral Analyst.
• Manage classroom behaviors and implement behavior plans.
• Collect data to monitor progress and communicate with the BCBA.
