Job summary

Batavia, United States, a technology services firm specializing in data, analytics and intelligent robotic processes, seeks a senior PeopleSoft Consultant to support On-demand PeopleSoft applications for Fermilab projects. You will design, code, test, and modify PeopleSoft components with strong HCM knowledge and payroll experience.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of development experience as PeopleSoft Systems/Developer Analyst using an Oracle database.
• Strong functional knowledge of PeopleSoft HCM v9.2 modules including HR, NA Payroll, Base Benefits and Compensation.
• Experience with PeopleSoft self-service applications (ePay, eProfile, eBen).
• Strong technical skills in People Tools 8.5x including Application Designer, PeopleCode, Integration Broker and Application messaging.
• Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, SQRs, Oracle Discoverer and BI Publisher Reports; Windows and Linux; UNIX shell scripting.
• Experience with Tax Update activities in PeopleSoft HCM v9.2 including COBOL or SQR customizations.

Responsibilities

• Design, code, test, and implement modifications to the PeopleSoft application as assigned.
• Assist with troubleshooting configuration, integration issues and day-to-day operational support activities.
• Provide business process improvements and/or configurations.
• Provide advisory support services including guidance on issues and solution guidance.
• Share process analysis and design documentation.
• Provide technical support for PeopleSoft Tax updates, Open Enrollment, W2 processing, Integrations, patching and upgrade activities.
• Knowledge transfer pertaining to issue resolution and troubleshooting for future similar issues.
• Work on service desk tickets and change requests to resolve data issues and problems in a timely manner.
• Ability to work with users to resolve issues.
• Maintain data integrity while performing duties.
• Provide testing scenarios for enhancements and defects.
• Provide training to users as needed.

Scope

Working in coordination with the Fermilab team, the scope ofwork for On-demand PeopleSoft applications support includes the following:

Requirements

• Resourcewill have a minimum of 10 years development experience as PeopleSoftSystems/Developer Analyst using an Oracle database.
  
• Theconsultant will have strong functional knowledge of PeopleSoft HCM v9.2modules including HR, North American Payroll, Base Benefits andCompensation modules. Experience with applications such as employeeself-service (ePay, eProfile, eBen) is also necessary.
  
• Theconsultant will have strong technical skills in People Tools 8.5xincluding Application Designer, People code, Integration Broker andApplication messaging, Application Engine, Data Mover, PS Query, ComponentInterface, Process Scheduler.
  
• Thesuccessful candidate will also have strong competencies in SQL, PL/SQL,SQRs, Oracle Discoverer and BI Publisher Reports, Windows and Linux, UNIXshell scripting, system administration including PeopleSoft InternetArchitecture, Application Server and Web server configuration.
  
• Experiencewith Tax Update related activities in PeopleSoft HCM v9.2 includingcustomizations to COBOL or SQR's
  

Experience with PeopleSoft v9.2 Enterprise HCM PersonModel and Non-Employees, Benefits Open Enrollment.

• Niceto have experience working with the new PS 9.2 Employee Self-Service FluidInterface.
  
• Theproposed resource(s) should have strong written and oral communicationskills.
  
• Highlydesirable skills include knowledge of ITIL processes.
