Job summary

United States Cold Storage, Inc. (USCS) seeks a Full Stack Software Engineer II to develop and enhance the Web Portal, a modern customer-facing platform providing inventory, orders, reporting, and operations visibility.

You will design, develop, test, and deploy web apps, APIs, and data-driven solutions, collaborating with product owners, analysts, and other engineers to deliver secure, scalable software in a hybrid environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional software development experience.
• Experience building customer-facing web applications.
• Experience with React or similar frontend framework.
• Experience building backend services and REST APIs.
• Experience with relational databases and SQL.
• Experience integrating internal and external systems via APIs.
• Experience writing automated tests and working in Agile environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain customer-facing web applications and backend services.
• Build and maintain REST APIs for communication between applications and partners.
• Develop integrations with enterprise applications and data platforms.
• Design and optimize database queries and data-driven features.
• Implement secure authentication and authorization with NextAuth.js/JWTs/Azure AD.
• Write automated tests and participate in code reviews to improve quality.
• Leverage AI tools to accelerate development while ensuring correctness.
• Monitor performance and troubleshoot production issues.
• Collaborate with product owners, analysts, and engineers to deliver solutions.
• Stay current with modern practices and drive engineering improvements.
