IRA Financial is seeking a Software Developer to design, build, and maintain robust web apps using React, PHP, TS, MongoDB, and Azure SQL. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to shape technology within the organization.

You’ll work on on-site teams in Sioux Falls, SD, with an emphasis on iterative delivery and strong communication. DOE salary and benefits reflect market competitiveness.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field (or U.S. bachelor’s with 5+ years post-baccalaureate exp)
• Strong proficiency with React, TypeScript or similar frontend stack
• Experience with PHP, ideally Laravel or similar frameworks
• Familiarity with MongoDB and Azure SQL for data management
• Experience with RESTful APIs, web services, and modern web architecture
• Comfortable working in agile teams with iterative delivery
• Version control and feature branching via Git
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to explain tech concepts

Responsibilities

• Build intuitive and performing user interfaces using React, TypeScript or similar
• Develop and maintain backend services using PHP with modern frameworks
• Manage and integrate data across MongoDB and Azure SQL environments
• Participate in architectural decisions and technical planning
• Collaborate with design, QA, product, and DevOps to meet delivery goals
• Contribute to a culture of experimentation by exploring new tools and ideas
• Participate in retrospectives and continuous improvement practices
• Troubleshoot, test, and maintain the core product for optimization and functionality
• Other tasks assigned by management
