Job summary

The Miami Dolphins, Hard Rock Stadium and South Florida Motorsports seek a seasoned Full Stack Web Developer to build and optimize high‑performance websites and native apps. You will collaborate with brand, sales and compliance teams to implement system changes and enhance user experiences that drive online sales.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Full Stack Web Development focusing on eCommerce and digital product optimization.
• Front-End: React/Next.js with UI frameworks, CSS/SASS, collaboration with designers.
• Back-End: Node.js, PHP, Spring Boot, WordPress (PHP), Express and REST APIs.
• Integrations: Payment processors and CRM/ESP integrations are required.
• Database: MySQL or similar; secure data handling.
• Architecture: MVC/MVT, cloud familiarity (Azure; AWS/GCP), performance and security focus.
• Communication and leadership: ability to mentor juniors and work with cross-functional teams.
• Agile/Scrum methodology experience and collaboration with UX/UI teams.

Summary

The Full Stack Web Developer will be responsible for building and optimizing high-performance websites and native apps that enhance user experiences and drive online sales. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including brand, sales, and compliance, to implement system changes, monitor site performance, and execute enhancements that increase purchase conversion rates.

• This is a full-time position based on site at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, FL

Responsibilities

• Develop and Maintain
  • Build, optimize, and maintain responsive websites and native apps for the Miami Dolphins, Miami Open, Formula 1 Hard Rock Miami Grand Prix and Hard Rock Stadium properties using modern frontend and backend technologies.
• Performance Monitoring
  • Continuously monitor site performance, identify issues, and lead the execution of UX/UI development.
• Optimization and Testing
  • Optimize websites (desktop and mobile) for conversion rate improvements through A/B testing and data-driven design decisions.
• Innovation and Leadership
  • Lead the development team in adopting best practices, emerging technologies, and innovative solutions that enhance the digital experience the digital experience while partnering with marketing and other functions across the organization.
• System Integration
  • Implement new system changes, such as integrating digital tools, ecommerce solutions, enhancing system connectivity and automation with APIs, and joining system tools like CRM and ESP to the front-end environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Full Stack Web Development with a focus on eCommerce and digital product optimization
• Technical Proficiency:
  • Front-End Development & UI Frameworks:
    • Frameworks/Libraries: React, Next.js, Typescript (a plus)
    • Styling Tools: CSS preprocessors (e.g., SASS)
    • UX/UI Collaboration: Experience working closely with designers to bring wireframes and prototypes to life
  • Back-End Development & Server-Side Technologies:
    • Languages/Frameworks: Node.js, PHP, Spring Boot, WP development (PHP), Express
    • API Development: Strong experience with REST APIs and server-side API integration
  • Integrations:
    • Third-Party Integrations: Payment processing tech (Shift4, Chase Paymentech, Stripe, or Braintree), post-purchase automation into HubSpot or similar CRM systems
  • Database & Data Management:
    • Databases: MySQL or similar
    • Data Handling: Proficient in connecting, manipulating, and securely storing data
  • Architecture, Patterns & Infrastructure:
    • Design Patterns: MVC (Model-View-Controller), MVT (Model-View-Template)
    • System Architecture: Deep knowledge of system architecture and infrastructure
    • Cloud Platforms: Azure, familiarity with AWS and Google Cloud
    • Web Performance: Skilled in optimizing web performance
    • Security: Knowledge of secure development practices for data storage and transfer
  • Design Patterns and Concepts:
    • Proficient in MVC (Model-View-Controller)
    • Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms to optimize application performance and maintainability
• Deep knowledge of system architecture and infrastructure, including cloud services (AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure)
• Proven experience in optimizing web performance, SEO, and mobile-first design
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Ability to lead and mentor junior developers while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams
• A strategic thinker who is proactive in identifying opportunities for system improvements and digital innovation
• Experience in optimizing eCommerce platforms to drive purchase conversion and user engagement
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies for efficient project delivery
• Experience working closely with UX/UI designers to bring wireframes and prototypes to life
