Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Full-Stack Visualization Engineer to support a leading pharmaceutical client on a causal biology initiative. The role focuses on building modern web applications and scientific visualizations to help researchers explore complex data and identify drug targets.

Qualifications

• 2-7 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong experience with: TypeScript, React, Next.js, Material UI (MUI), D3.js.
• Experience working with Google Cloud Platform, including BigQuery and Cloud Storage.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain modern full stack applications using TypeScript, React, and Next.js
• Build interactive scientific visualizations using D3.js and related visualization technologies
• Develop user interfaces aligned with established design systems and UI standards
• Collaborate with data scientists to create tailored visual experiences for research and analytics workflows
• Consume and display data from BigQuery and other cloud-based sources
• Develop and execute unit, integration, and end-to-end tests using Playwright
• Participate in design reviews and contribute to application architecture decisions
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot and Claude to improve engineering productivity
