Job summary

Bain & Company is seeking a Full-Stack TypeScript Engineer for AI product experiences across the PE due diligence ecosystem. You will own end-to-end development from frontend interfaces to Python-based orchestration layers, delivering reliable, scalable AI-powered workflows.

The role emphasizes collaboration with Product, Design, and domain stakeholders, building safe, observable, and user-friendly AI features. Hybrid work arrangement and competitive compensation are provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Data Science, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience building production software, including full-stack or AI-enabled systems.
• Strong TypeScript proficiency for frontends and backends; Python experience as a secondary language.
• Experience with containerized environments (Docker/Kubernetes) and CI practices.
• Experience working with LangChain/LangGraph and AI product features is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build end-to-end AI product features across TypeScript frontend, Node.js backend, and Python orchestration layers.
• Develop analyst-facing AI interfaces for workflows like deal screening and due diligence.
• Craft responsive frontend experiences in TypeScript for streaming AI outputs and human-in-the-loop flows.
• Maintain end-to-end type-safe contracts between frontend and backend services.
• Collaborate with product, design, and domain stakeholders to translate AI capabilities into usable experiences.
