Job summary

Pure Storage, Inc. is seeking a Test Development Engineer in Santa Clara to drive test strategy, architecture, and hardware validation for enterprise storage products across the NPI lifecycle.

You will bridge hardware design and production, accelerating time-to-market while ensuring product quality. You’ll build scalable test solutions from PCBA to system level and collaborate with hardware, quality, and operations teams.

Qualifications

• Experience building production-grade full-stack applications from ambiguous requirements.
• Expertise in designing and scaling high-availability backend data systems.
• Deep understanding of PCBA (L6) and system-level (L10) test strategies.
• Ability to translate complex engineering concepts into clear documentation.

Responsibilities

• Architect Full-Stack Applications & POCs to optimize manufacturing test execution.
• Scale high-availability telemetry systems for real-time production analytics.
• Define and deploy comprehensive hardware test strategy from PCBA to system level.
• Lead hardware debugging and NPIs with contract manufacturing partners.
