Job summary

Everpure is seeking a senior hardware validation engineer to lead system-level debugging and validation of high-performance storage drives. You will design, run, and document tests, analyze failures, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to implement improvements.

The role emphasizes hands-on lab work, strong scripting skills in Python and Bash, and experience with PCIe, DDR, NAND, SPI, and I2C protocols in enterprise storage environments.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in hardware/system validation and debugging.
• B.S. Electrical or Computer Engineering; MS is a plus.
• Proficient with Python and Bash scripting.
• Hands-on lab experience with scope, VNA, protocol analyzers and power testing tools.
• Knowledge of PCIe, DDR, NAND, SPI, I2C protocols.
• Experience with enterprise storage/server systems is a bonus.
• Strong self-motivation and communication skills.

What You\'ll Do

• Responsible for debugging Hardware and System level issues
• Lead Hardware and Mechanical validation of new drive designs, both internally and with JDM. Includes board level signal/power measurements, mechanical testing, thermal measurements, 4-corner testing, etc…
• Support interoperability and debug of Pure Storage devices in customer systems
• Analyze and document test results
• Perform failure and root cause analysis to support field issues, customer escalation and factory defects
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement corrective actions and process improvements
• We are primarily an in-office environment and therefore, you will be expected to work from the {{OFFICE_LOCATION}} office in compliance with Everpure\'s policies, unless you are on PTO, or work travel, or other approved leave.
  
  

What You Bring

• 7+ years of experience in Hardware/System validation and debug
• B.S. Electrical or Computer Engineering (M.S. is a plus)
• Python and BASH scripting experience
• Hands-on lab experience with oscilloscopes, VNA, protocol analyzer, power load/analyzer, current probes, soldering rework etc…
• Understanding of PCIe, DDR, NAND, SPI, I2C protocols
• Experience working on enterprise systems (storage/server a bonus)
• Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
  
  

Salary ranges are determined based on role, level and location. For positions open to candidates in multiple geographical locations, the base salary range is reflective of the labor market across the applicable locations.

This role may be eligible for incentive pay and/or equity.

The Annual Base Salary Range Is

$180,000—$270,000 USD
