Job summary

Range is seeking Software Engineering Interns for a summer program to work with experienced engineers and contribute meaningful code to our production platform from day one. The role is based at Range's Headquarters in McLean, VA, and is a part-time in-office position.

You'll collaborate across frontend, backend, and infrastructure, build real features, and gain hands-on experience across the full stack in a dynamic fintech environment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field with expected graduation between 2027 and 2028.
• Familiarity with JavaScript, TypeScript, or similar programming languages.
• Eagerness to work across the stack—frontend, backend, and infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship features across the web platform with cross-functional teams.
• Write clean, well-tested code for a secure, scalable production environment.
• Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and engineering rituals.
• Learn and apply engineering best practices in a fast-paced startup setting.
• Take ownership of an intern project with real user impact and present it at program end.
