Qualifications

• Interest in medical software and regulated environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

Job Description Summary

Join GE HealthCare's MIM Commercialized Web Applications team and help build software that healthcare providers will use every day. As a Software Engineering Intern at GE Healthcare for our MIM Commercialized Web Applications team, you will contribute to our web applications sold to customers - MIMcloud and MIM Anyware.

MIMcloud is a software-as-a-service (SaaS) web application which enables secure, HIPAA-compliant cloud-based storage and exchange of medical images between clinical facilities.

MIM Anyware is an on-premise web application which virtualizes access to our main desktop medical imaging application (MIM) through a web browse r.

What You'll Do:

• Contribute full-stack changes to the codebases of MIMcloud and/or MIM Anyware .
• D ocument code , design specificatio n s, and cybersecurity threat models
• Test code and write unit tests
• Work closely with experienced software engineers, including a personal mentor
• Learn about software engineering principles in an industry environment
• Learn about engineering best practices for development of regulated medical software
• Work on real features with a real - world impact on customers
